Information We Receive from LinkedIn and Other Connected Services
UIRPL Console integrates with LinkedIn's official APIs (the Marketing Developer Platform and Sign In with LinkedIn) to provide managed content publishing and analytics services to our clients. When You authorise UIRPL to manage Your LinkedIn member profile or LinkedIn Company Page, We receive the following categories of data from LinkedIn:
- Authentication and identity data: OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens, Your LinkedIn member ID or organization URN, Your name, Your photo, and Your headline.
- Content data: posts, articles, and other content that You author and approve for publishing, including any attached media (images, documents).
- Engagement data: aggregate post performance metrics (impressions, reactions, comments, shares) and profile-level metrics (profile views, follower counts, search appearances).
- Comment data: comments left by other LinkedIn members on Your posts, including the commenter's display name and public profile fields, for the purpose of displaying these inside UIRPL Console so that You and our supervisors can review them.
We receive this data only after You (or Your authorised Page administrator) explicitly grant UIRPL Console permission through LinkedIn's official consent flow. You may revoke this permission at any time, either inside UIRPL Console or through Your LinkedIn account settings; on revocation, We cease all further API calls associated with Your authorisation.
We do not request, receive, or use LinkedIn Member Data for advertising targeting, sales prospecting, recruiting, lead generation, audience building, or enrichment of any CRM or marketing automation platform. Our use of LinkedIn data is limited solely to managing the LinkedIn member profile or LinkedIn Company Page of the client who has authorised Us.
We comply with LinkedIn's published Data Storage Requirements (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/linkedin/marketing/data-storage-requirements) and LinkedIn API Terms of Use (https://www.linkedin.com/legal/l/api-terms-of-use). Specifically:
- Most LinkedIn member profile data is cached for no more than twenty-four (24) hours, then refreshed on demand.
- LinkedIn member social activity data is cached for no more than forty-eight (48) hours, then refreshed on demand.
We retain derived analytics (for example, aggregated engagement rates and period-over-period performance summaries) for the duration of Your engagement with UIRPL, because these derivatives are Our own analytical outputs and not raw LinkedIn Member Data.
OAuth Tokens and Credential Handling
UIRPL Console uses OAuth 2.0 to obtain authorisation to act on Your LinkedIn account. We treat the resulting tokens with the same care as financial credentials.
- OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens are stored encrypted at rest using a dedicated, industry-standard key management service hosted on cloud infrastructure located in India.
- Tokens are decrypted only in-memory at the moment they are used to make an authorised API call, and only by authenticated UIRPL Console services running inside Our private network.
- Tokens are never written to application logs, never copied to backups in plaintext, and never shared with any third party.
- When You offboard from UIRPL, when You revoke Our access via LinkedIn settings, or when You exercise Your right to erasure, We revoke and delete all tokens associated with Your account.
Automated Processing and AI-Assisted Content
UIRPL uses artificial intelligence to support, not replace, the work of Our content supervisors. Specifically, AI systems may be used to:
- Help research industry trends, news, and topics relevant to Your area of work.
- Draft proposed LinkedIn posts, articles, or carousel slides for Your review.
- Suggest content formats and posting times based on engagement patterns.
- Assist supervisors in moderating and triaging comments left on Your posts.
In all cases:
A human supervisor on the UIRPL team reviews proposed content before it is presented to You.
You (or Your designated approver) approve every piece of content before it is published to Your LinkedIn account.
No automated system publishes to Your LinkedIn account without an upstream human approval.
You may at any time request additional information about how AI is used in the preparation of content on Your account by writing to Our Grievance Officer (see "Your Rights and Grievance Redressal" below).
